Looking Ahead to AALNC's Annual Forum 2022
By Mary Flanagan, BSN, RN, CNOR, LNCC
To our AALNC Community,
On behalf of the AALNC Board of Directors and staff, I hope this note finds you in good health and good spirits.
As we head into the holidays, COVID continues to present new challenges for our world. While this new environment continues to evolve, AALNC remains committed to holding a safe and enjoyable Annual Forum in Orlando, Florida April 28-30, 2022.
Over the past two years, AALNC has delivered high quality, relevant education and networking opportunities, and we embraced the new and innovative ways to connect virtually. Although we have been physically distanced, we have remained socially connected. Our organization is thriving. Thanks to the advances in our medical and infectious disease communities, we now can bring in-person experiences back to our legal nurse consulting family in a safe and responsible manner.
We recognize the continued apprehension you may feel about attending an in-person gathering. AALNC’s top priority is the safety of our attendees and staff. We will continue to monitor the evolving public health guidance and provide regular updates to our membership. As a professional nursing association, we believe it is important to take all steps necessary to ensure the health and well-being of our community. The most effective way to ensure the safety of all attendees is for them to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Therefore, AALNC will be requiring COVID-19 vaccine verification for all Forum attendees in 2022. Be on the lookout for registration to open in December. Additional details, including the education program and networking opportunities, are on the AALNC website.
For over 30 years, AALNC has set the gold standard in legal nurse consulting excellence and this conference experience will be no different. As your professional home for legal nurse consulting, we hope you will join us next spring as we celebrate this long-awaited reunion of LNCs from across the country.
Thank you for your continued support. We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we strive to bring our members back together. Although the pandemic is not behind us, we are excited to take an important step forward to reconnect —and advance the specialty of legal nurse consulting.
